Rahmiere Shaw-Floyd was with a group of others when police thought they observed him with a gun.
Shaw-Floyd exited the boardwalk and went onto the beach at New York Avenue where he was stopped by the responding officers. Police said they located a loaded handgun in Shaw-Floyd’s waistband at which time he was taken into custody without incident. The handgun was found to be fitted with a high-capacity magazine and loaded with hollow point bullets, police said.
He was charged with multiple weapons offenses.
Shaw-Floyd was sent to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
